Jessica is able to embody her strong female role because of her passion for action, her mixed martial arts expertise, her horse-riding, her guns and weapon skills and her athletic skills. Jessica has learned to box, learn muay Thai, and trains at a mixed martial arts gym in Australia. Jake Stormoen was shooting Season 4 of the show and was in the process of meeting a dog which was spotted on the set. It turned out that the animal was part of an entire litter of puppies that were on the set. Jessica was the foster mom to at least two pups.
